7 Ways to Create Backlinks for B2B Websites

With millions of websites giving cut-throat competition to each other, quality backlinks can play an important role in improving your organic search ranking.

When it comes to B2B websites, backlinks are more important than any other SEO strategy to build authority and get visibility among their B2C counterparts targeting the same keywords.

So, in this article, I’m going to share some of the creative ways that you can use to attract quality backlinks to your website.

But before going ahead, let’s understand what backlinks are and why it is important.

What are Backlinks?

Backlinks are the incoming links or inbound links from other websites to your site. Search engines like Google consider backlinks for a specific page as “votes” of credibility and authority.

So, the pages with the highest number of votes or backlinks are considered to be more relevant and credible than those with few or no backlinks. Thus the more backlinks your pages gain, the higher it tends to rank in the search result pages.

However, not all backlinks can be useful to your site. For instance, to rank higher in the SERP, you need to focus on gaining quality backlinks. A single high-quality backlink can prove to be more effective than 100 other low-quality backlinks.

So, which links are considered to be high-quality?

In simple words, backlinks from trusted websites with domain authority higher than your site are considered to be quality backlinks. If the site has more authority, then it will pass some of its authority juice to your website through the link thus results in increasing your domain authority.

Now, to gain backlinks from trusted websites, you need to have high-quality and linkable content on your site. And the pages or sites that link to you should be related to your industry and relevant to their audience.

That being said, let’s look into some of the powerful and creative strategies to find such websites and gain backlinks from them.
